A kétszeres Kossuth-díjas Törőcsik Mari, hivatalosan a Nemzet Színésze, a cannes.i fesztivál Aranypálma-díjasa, s egy ország szívében és szeretetében is a legnagyobb magyar színésznő: olyan közöttünk élő legenda, akivel együtt játszani felér a színészek számára az Oscar-díjjal.
„Én csak írni tudok, de Tamás ujjaival az Isten üzen” – mondta róla egykor Magyarország egyik legnagyobb írónője, Szabó Magda. Érdi Tamás koraszülöttként jött a világra Budapesten: látását a hibás inkubátorkezelés miatt veszítette el. 5 éves volt, mikor zongorázni kezdett, nyolc évesen lépett fel első ízben a Pesti Vigadóban, s 1993-ban már a Louis Braille Nemzetközi Zongoraverseny második helyezettje lett Moszkvában. 15 évesen játszotta el Vásáry Tamás vezényletével Mozart A-dúr zongoraversenyét a Budapesti Tavaszi Fesztiválon. 1994-ben vették fel a Bécsi Zeneakadémiára, majd elnyerte a torontói Royal Conservatory of Music ösztöndíját. Érzékeny lelkű, kultikus művész, akit hatalmas rajongótábora kísér el, bármerre koncertezzék is a világban.

The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
