Az Elisabeth után újabb Lévay Szilveszter sikermusical az MKB Musical Arénában! A Rebecca a magyar származású, Grammy-díjas komponista, és állandó szerzőtársa, a szövegíró Michael Kunze munkája, amit a Budapesti Operettszínház Bécs, Japán és Helsinki után 2010-ben mutatott be, és jelenleg is nagy sikerrel fut műsorán.

A történetet a musicalben is a főszereplő naiv fiatal nő, „Én” elmesélésében ismerhetjük meg. Egy Co^te d’Azur-i szállodában ismerkedik meg Lord Maxim de Winterrel, akinek felesége, Rebecca rejtélyes módon vesztette életét. Gyors udvarlás után ő lesz a második Mrs. De Winter, és férjével annak vidéki otthonába, a legendás Manderley-be költözik, mely az első pillanattól rideg és barátságtalan számára. Ráadásul nyomasztóan nehezedik rá az első Mrs. De Winter emléke, aki a ház minden tárgyában, szegletében, főképp Mrs. Danvers, a házvezetőnő gondolataiban folyamatosan jelen van…
Régi terve vált valóra a Kunze-Lévay párosnak, amikor du Maurier izgalmas, már-már krimiszerű regényét zenés színpadra vihették. A sikerszéria Bécsből indult, Budapesten folytatódott, és a Budapesti Operettszínház nagyszabású produkciójában Sopronba, az MKB Musical Arénába érkezett!
