Az előadásban elhangzó szövegek a verbatim munka elveinek megfelelően eredeti anyagok, melyek hosszát és sorrendjét az alkotók határozzák meg anélkül, hogy e szövegeket a legcsekélyebb mértékben is stilizálnák vagy átírnák.
Interjúztunk túlélőkkel, hozzátartozókkal, ügyészekkel, rendőrökkel, a helyi kisebbségi önkormányzat vezetőivel, polgármesterekkel, de nagyban támaszkodunk a közszereplők publikus megnyilvánulásaira és a médiavisszhangra is.
Az előadás egy nemzetközi csapat közösségi munkájával készül, melyben elsősorban színészek, dramaturgok és drámaírók alakítják a végső produkció formáját. Michael Bhim és Mihaela Michailov hazájuk legismertebb fiatal drámaírói közé tartoznak, fő profiljuk a dokumentarista színház, ahogy David Schwartz és Schermann Márta rendezőknek is.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
