Két keménykalapos férfi csetlik-botlik az erdőben. Szomory és Vidor színészek, akiknek a
művészélet hosszú ideje nem termett babért. Jólesne egy kis házi koszt, házi pálinka a törődött
vándoroknak! De Róza, az erdőbirtokos nagynéni házába nem állíthatnak be csak úgy.

Valamirevaló, tisztességes foglalkozású embereknek kell kiadniuk magukat. Ráadásul
rosszabb pillanatot nem is választhattak volna a látogatásra, hisz Róza világa is éppen
fenekestül felfordul: szerelmes lesz valakibe, akibe nem volna szabad.
Osztrovszkij fanyar komédiája a társadalmi elvárásokról a mai színpadon számos referenciát
megmozgat a bűvös erdő reneszánsz toposzától a nemes rabló romantikus figuráján át a
burleszkfilmek bohócáig. A tét ma is ugyanaz, mint 1870-ben? képesek vagyunk szembenézni
önmagunkkal?

Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
