A német romantikus zene két emblematikus remekműve alkotja a Sándor-bérlet következő hangversenyének műsorát. Először a hegedűirodalom egyik legsúlyosabb versenyműve, Johannes Brahms 1878-ben készült D-dúr hegedűversenye csendül fel, amelynek hátterében a zeneszerző és a 19. század egyik legnagyobb hegedűse, a magyar származású Joachim József életre szóló barátsága áll: a zárótétel tüzes verbunkos motívumai ennek a mély emberi-szakmai kapcsolatnak állítanak emléket. A rendkívül igényes szólószólamot a fiatal francia hegedűművésznő, Marie-Astrid Hulot szólaltatja meg. Egészen más világba, Itália napsütötte tájaira viszi hallgatóit Mendelssohn az 1830-as olasz utazás emlékét őrző, népszerű 4. A-dúr szimfóniája. A Győri Filharmonikus Zenekar hangversenyét Berkes Kálmán dirigálja.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
