A méregdrága szalon egyik tulajdonosa, a felfuvalkodott Gilbert élete hódítására készül felesége távollétében. A nagy terv gépezetébe azonban a kezdetektől fogva homokszemek kerülnek: makrancos szeretők, századára csökkenő árú bundák, visszatérő feleség, de még egy részeges fregattkapitány is a reménybeli házasságtörés útjába kerül.

Our offer
The World of Ballet Remembers a Hungarian Legend 2014 saw the sudden passing of the international ballet artist and ballet director Iván Nagy. After his retirement, he had returned to serve his country by working as head artistic consultant for the Hungarian State Opera.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
