Tehetünk-e mindenkinek kedvére, mint Surik, a jóképű moszkvai fiú, aki minden asszony dédelgetett álma? A csinos, biztonságot sugárzó férfi kitűnő szerető, önzetlen barát és kötelességtudó gyerek, akit hölgyismerősei bármikor megkereshetnek, felhívhatnak, gondolkodás nélkül segít rajtuk, mindegyikük elvárásának megfelel. Eközben azonban lassan elveszíti az arcát. Ulickaja nagyszerű regényének szereplői elevenednek meg a Rózsavölgyi Szalon színpadán.
Az előadás hossza: 90 perc szünet nélkül.

Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
