Verdi szerette a nőket – és ez világosan tükröződik abból is, ahogy női főhőseivel bánt. Még ha sok szenvedést, megaláztatást, csalódást és kiszolgáltatottságot is adott nekik útravalóul, mindig övék volt a végső, isteni igazság. Ebből az ellentétből származik a megtisztulás érzése is, ami átjárja az embert Violetta, Leonóra vagy Gilda tragédiáját hallgatva. Verdi szerette a nőket – de ismerte is őket, ezért ezek az alakok sosem papírmasék. Hús-vér emberek, hibákkal, rossz döntésekkel, bűnökkel akár, de Verdi mindig a mi, nézők kezébe csúsztatja finoman a megbocsájtás olajágacskáját, miközben haláltusájukat siratjuk.

Our offer
The series launched in the 2025/26 season focuses on composers whose operas receive special attention during the season. Yet there are many singers who do not find a role in the works of these masters, but who would gladly sing from their rich vocal palettes. The piano afternoons and matinees are for them, about them, and inspired by them.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
