Nem is lehetne két egymástól jobban különböző férj, mint Balázs (Haumann Máté) és Henrik (Klem Viktor). Balázsnak a család fontos meg az otthona – amit éppen felújítanak. Henriknek viszont a csábítás fontos meg az otthon – amit a haverja éppen felújít, - hogy legyen hova meghívni legújabb hódítását. A két férj és feleségeik: a gyerekre vágyó Anikó (Balla Eszter) meg a férjén minden áron bosszút állni vágyó Linda (Martinovics Dorina), valamint a lakást felújító dizájner (Szabó Simon) és az őt rajongásával üldöző csaj (Kopek Janka) mind arra vágyik, hogy végre egyedül maradhasson a felújítás alatt álló lakásban, és belépjen a nagy Ő. De sajnos túl nagy az átmenő forgalom. Egyetlen, zűrzavaros napon egymásba botlik, akinek nem kéne, lebukik, aki ártatlan, és elcsábul, aki hűséges. Nagy szívű, ám még nagyobbakat füllentő hőseink vágyak, szerelmek, átverések hálójából próbálnak kikecmeregni, amibe egyre jobban belegabalyodnak. Néha, egy-egy pillanatra az őszinteséggel próbálkoznak – és abból lesz a legnagyobb bonyodalom...

This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
