Az ágrólszakadt kis Ferkó képzeletében mesefigurákkal, babonás történésekkel színezi ki szegényes életét. Torokgyík miatti lázálmában a Cinkekirály menti meg őt a bűbájos Küsmödi karmai közül. Csodatévő ködmönjétől pedig azt várja, hogy tanulás nélkül is tudjon. Az égbelátó távcső reményében viszont már csal is: átjavítja Bicebóca dolgozatát.
A ködmön igencsak elkezdi szorítani, amikor övé lesz az égbelátó. Hogy lelkén könnyítsen, elviszi a betegen fekvő Bicebócának az öreg bányába.
Ekkor felrobban a tárna.
A gyerekeket megtalálják, és a halott Küsmödi előidézte robbanás szénhez juttatja a falut.

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
