A Győri Filharmonikus Zenekar a későromantika két nagy mesterének egy-egy grandiózus kompozícióját tűzte műsorára a Richter- és a Varga Tibor-bérlet közös estjén. Az első félidőben Richard Strauss 1890-ben bemutatott, az emberi szenvedést, a sors kegyetlensége ellen hiábavalónak látszó küzdelmet a művészet által történő megváltásban győzelemre vivő, a hangszerelés magasiskoláját bemutató szimfonikus költeménye, a Halál és megdicsőülés csendül fel. A szünet után a finn zene történetének legjelentősebb alkotóművésze, Jean Sibelius 1902-ben bemutatott, a magyar pódiumokon ritkán hallható, zord 2. szimfóniáját játssza a zenekar, Rajna Martin vezető karmester dirigálásával.
Our offer
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
