Egressy az egyik legsikeresebb kortárs drámaíró, legismertebb darabja, a Portugál, húsz évig futott a Katona József Színházban, és több mint száz hazai és külföldi bemutatót ért meg. Négy művéből film készült, munkásságát József Attila-díjjal ismerték el.
Terepasztal című új drámájában két emberi sors bontakozik ki: az egyik mozaikdarabokból, a másik elharapott szavakból…
