„Milliónyi éhes gyerek bitangol Európa szerte. Nincs mit enniük, nincs hol aludniuk. Nem tudnak írni, olvasni, nem tudják mi a zene, mi a szeretet. (…) Az otthonukat szétverte a háború.” A második világháború végén játszódó történet hősei a fedél nélkül maradt gyerekek, akik bandába verődve igyekeznek túlélni a háború borzalmait. Egy idős zenész, Simon Péter fogadja be őket, az ő romos kastélyában lelnek menedéket.

And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English.
