A koncert a Zeneakadémia egykori főigazgatóját, az ifjú Bartók zongorista-példaképét, a 20. század első felének talán legkáprázatosabb zongoristáját és egyik meghatározó zeneszerzőjét, Dohnányi Ernőt idézi meg. Hollerung Gábor előadása révén nemcsak egy kanyarokban gazdag, több kontinenst átívelő életutat ismerhetünk meg, hanem Dohnányi egyik legszellemesebb művét is, a magyarul „Hull a pelyhes fehér hó” szöveggel ismert gyerekdalra írott, rendkívül virtuóz, zenekarkíséretes zongoravariációkat is. A mű szólistája a Zeneakadémia egyetemi tanára, a Kossuth-díjas Jandó Jenő lesz.
Műsor: Dohnányi: Variációk egy gyermekdalra, op. 25
Közreműködik: Jandó Jenő (zongora)
Előad és vezényel: Hollerung Gábor
