Mindannyiunk emlékei között ott vannak a nagy mesegyűjtő, mesemondó csodásan illusztrált könyvei, ezeken nőttünk fel, s ezeket adjuk át gyermekeinknek is. A magyar népmesékben a bolondok visszatérő, közkedvelt szereplők. Kiváló lehetőséget adnak e tréfás mesék az egyes személyiségtípusok kifigurázására, jellemrajzok észrevétlen ábrázolására. A mese végén pedig még az is kiderülhet, hogy a „bolondnak” van a legtöbb esze. Olyan előadás ez, melyben vásári hangulatot teremtve szórakoztatjuk közönségünket.
