10.Színházi Olimpia, DEPO Dance Festival, “Színház szavak nélkül” -Bolero & Parádé

Our companies international relationship system is built up from the richness of the universal contemporary dance world,  acceding to the basic idea of The Theatre Olympics. Within the duration of our festival performances include: PRO ART (CZ), OPUS BALLET (IT), BALLET JAZZ ART (FR), THE ROYAL BALLET FEHÉRVÁR (HU), INVERSEDANCE (HU), BUDAPEST TÁNCSZÍNHÁZ (HU) companies. In the DEPO Studio Theatre in 5 days, 5 national artists create a testimony to the spiritual power of art, which the audience can join together between the Heavens and the Earth with honest love.
The festival is between 11-15th of April at DEPO Studio Theatre.


THE ROYAL BALLET FEHÉRVÁR

The production is basically a contemporary dance-theatrical piece that intends to dramatize the special intonation of Boban Markovic’s music with its deep roots, to bring it to life, staging it with dance theatrical devices.  

‘Parade’ in fact has come into existence with the cooperation of the Royal Ballet Fehérvár and the Boban Markovic Orkestar. The musical foundation of the piece is the band’s album called ‘Mrak’.

‘Parade’ formulates a feeling through the language of dance theatre. Its dramaturgy portrays different moods, scenes and situations.  

For the unique and extremely dynamic music of Boban Markovic, full of life and at the same time dramatic, Attila Egerházi created such scenery that show a series of scenes in a world interwoven with sarcasm and humour.

Ravel’s music glows red and erupts as a pulsating volcano.
Bolero is a long lasting musical “orgasm” that reaches its climax through accelerating rhythm and dynamics.
The French title of our ballet is Rouge, which means Red. Red as a lipstick. One of the main symbols of femininity. Libido, Blood, Woman and Man, Life and Death…
This ballet is a fundamental expression of the music.
The invisible becomes visible!
