Vidám, zenés est egy házasság viszontagságairól két részben, Szenes Iván slágereivel dalban elbeszélve.
A Nagyváradi Erzsébet- Vasicsek János, színész-énekes házaspár Szenes Iván örök érvényű slágereinek segítségével helyezi új megvilágításba a házasság intézményét. Saját párkapcsolatuk kudarcain, és sikerein keresztül beszélnek férfi és nő örök küzdelméről egymással, és egymásért. Miközben a néző hallgatja a csodálatos dalokat igényes hangszerelésben, önfeledten nevet a sziporkázó öniróniával megírt, rövid összekötő
szövegeken.
Szenes legnagyobb slágerei mellet ( Tölcsért csinálok..., Kicsit szomorkás..., Hosszú, forró nyár, Lazítani, Kicsi , gyere velem rózsát szedni!), elhangzik egy-két kevésbé ismert szerzeménye is ( Örülni kell..., Túl minden bolondos álmon...).
