Zorán koncert

Zorán koncert

Az utóbbi években nagyon fölértékelődött a Zorán-jelenség. Nemcsak amiatt, amivé a kitűnő muzsikus egészen kivételes pályafutása során lett, hanem talán egyre inkább annak okán is, amivé nem lett.

Zorán ezúttal is bátran válogat gazdag repertoárjából.

A ritkán előadott szerzemények és igazi zenei csemegék is megszólalnak, de a programból természetesen nem hiányozhatnak a „kihagyhatatlan”, erejükből az évtizedek során mit sem vesztő dalok sem.

Our offer

While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.

Giuseppe Verdi Il trovatore

As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
