The meeting of two people always brings together values, customs, and traditions. Expectations. The compulsion to meet other’s
expectations. The presence of another person is a stimulus on stage, which immediately becomes a question, a challenge, an attack. How can we remain faithful to our senses when our social relations are confined within customary laws and formal systems, when communication is not about connection but about social expression and self-definition, in which every relation becomes a prop, an entry in the dictionary of self- definition.
Our offer
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
