Schubert egy évvel halála előtt, 1827-ben komponálta Téli utazás című dalciklusát. A mindvégig tragikus alaphangulatú mű eredeti előadó-apparátusa a tenor hang zongorakísérettel, ám gyakran megszólal baritonok és basszusok előadásában is. A melankolikussága ellenére is népszerű darab sokféle feldolgozását hallhattuk az utóbbi években Budapesten: szimfonikus zenekarra hangszerelve csakúgy megszólalt, mint az eredeti tenorváltozatban. Másfél évvel ezelőtt napjaink egyik legelismertebb magyar énekese, a külföldön is páratlan sikereket arató Baráth Emőke vállalkozott rá, hogy megszólaltassa Schubert kései remekét Razvaljajeva Anasztázia hárfaművész kíséretével. Novák Eszter rendezése gondoskodott róla, hogy az esetek túlnyomó többségében férfidrámaként megismert dalciklus hamisítatlan női szemszögből kerüljön a nézők és hallgatók elé. A 2018-ban nagy sikerrel bemutatott produkció most két alkalommal tér vissza a Solti terem színpadára.
