Medgyaszay Vilma és Vidor Ferike a magyar kabarétörténelem két országos hírű művésznője. A két felvonásos darab alatt a mindenkori "nagyasszony", és az örök "cselédlány" rivalizálnak nemcsak a közönség kegyeiért, hanem a kabaré "háziszerzője", Gábor Andor szívéért is. A valós századfordulós bulvár eseményeket felelevenítő előadásban a női fortélyok és trükkök során már-már úgy tűnik, a nagystílű Medgyaszaynak kedvez a szerencse, amikor váratlan fordulat következik be a színház életében...
Az előadás a huszadik század elejének híres sanzonjait, kupléit eleveníti fel.
