Velence mindig is értékelte a multifunkcionális embereket, sorozatunk hőse pedig a maga papi, tanári, hegedűvirtuózi, zeneszerzői és operaimpresszáriói tevékenységeit olyan ügyesen ötvözte, hogy a város hamar a vállára emelte őt. A siker titka – mint később is Beethovenig minden nagy szerzőnél – az operában rejlett. A kifinomult ízlésű közönség csak a sikeres operaszerzőket vette igazán komolyan, Vivaldi pedig kikövetelte magának a figyelmet. Ha kellett, saját pénzét kockára téve, de ontotta magából az új bemutatókat, és Händel stílusát a saját leleményével ötvözve valóságos remekműveket hozott létre, melyekről még az előző század elején is úgy hitték, hogy kivétel nélkül elvesztek.

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
