Az 2023-ban 25 éves jubileumát ünneplő Budapest Jazz Orchestra nagy áttörést jelentett a hazai jazz-élet számára, hiszen létrejött Magyarország első professzionális big band-je. A zenekar dinamikus fejlődése során a műfaj jelentős zenei állomásait végigjárva mára a kortárs zene világszinten is elismert reprezentálójává nőtte ki magát. A BJO kiváló munkásságának ékes bizonyítéka az elmúlt 24 év, mely idő alatt számos koncert, hazai és nemzetközi elismerés, illetve megszámlálhatatlan magyarországi és külföldi előadó közreműködése színesítette a zenekar palettáját. A The Golden Era of Jazz című műsoruk szólistája Polyák Lilla színésznő, énekesnő, aki ezen az estén olyan dalokat énekel, amelyeket ritkán lehet hallani a tolmácsolásában. Egy kivételes este, egy kivételes színésznőénekesnővel, és Magyarország legnépszerűbb big band-jével. Ella Fitzgerald, Ray Charles, Natalie Cole, George Gershwin örökzöldjei, csak hogy néhányat említsünk a repertoárból. Frank Sinatra és Tony Bennett világát hozza el a koncert vendégeként Gájer Bálint, aki több alkalommal is koncertezett a zenekar partnereként nagy sikerrel.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
