A szépségre, a boldogságra, a bátorságra, és igazságra való törekvés olyan bennünk szunnyadó elemi vágy, amelyet a mai, egymástól elhatárolódó világrendszerünkben sokszor csak egy-egy eszményített alak bőrébe bújva, egy műalkotás hatása alatt tudunk átélni. Ilyen műalkotás G. Verdi - Traviata című műve is, ami generációk szívében ébreszti fel a tiszta, örök szerelem és az önfeláldozás eszméjét, miközben örök aktualitásával fontos kérdéseket vet fel. Átélve életünk személyes drámáit vajon hányszor térünk le mi magunk is a helyes útról? És egyáltalán, mit is jelent manapság a helyes út?
Az Inversedance és a GG Tánc Eger együttműködésével született táncszínházi átiratban a Traviata két felvonása - az alkotópáros, Fodor Zoltán és Topolánszky Tamás eltérő látásmódjának és mozgásnyelvezetének köszönhetően - élesen elkülönül egymástól. S mint ahogy a valóságban két ellentétes érzelem - szerelem és fájdalom - sokszor egyetlen érzelmi állapotot alkot, úgy válik a két megfogalmazás egyetlen megkapó, elgondolkodtató, és látványos előadássá.

Following on the heels of the introductory Das Rheingold, this opera about the tragic love between two of Wotan's children constitutes the start of the more tightly drawn dramatic trilogy. Once again, the laws of the gods clash: can paternal love save a lad who has violated the sanctity of marriage?
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
