Tóth Péter 11 évesen kezdett zongorázni Békéscsabán Csontos József Attila növendékeként, majd két és fél év zongoratanulás után felvételt nyert a budapesti Zeneakadémia előkészítő tagozatára, ahol Nádor György, Réti Balázs és Bihary László osztályába került. more

A Zeneakadémián megszerzett diplomája után (2008) az Egyesült Államokban folytatta tanulmányait Ungár Tamás majd Anton Nel növendékeként. 2015-ben megszerezte a doktori fokozatot a University of Texas at Austin egyetemen. 2016 óta New Jersey-ben él, és a Fairleigh Dickinson Egyetem zongoratanára.
Tóth a világ mindegy húsz országában koncertezett, többek között Németországban, Hollandiában, Ausztriában, Franciaországban, az Egyesült Államokban, Japánban, Dél-Koreában, Costa Ricában, Peruban, és természetesen Magyarországon. 2022 októberében telt házas önálló koncertet adott a new yorki Carnegie Hallban. Legutóbbi jelentősebb fellépései között szerepel egy 2025 novemberében adott öt koncertből álló turné Hollandiában, illetve egy 2026 március 15.-i fellépés a Wallingford-i Szimfonikus Zenekarral Connecticut államban. A 2026. évi Békés-tarhosi Zenei Napok nyitóhangversenyén is fellépett a Békés Megyei Szimfonikus Zenekar szólistájaként. 2027 januárjában a budapesti Zeneakadémia Nagytermében ad önálló koncertet, de nem kell addig várni, a Gyulai Várszínház Kamaratermében már október 14-én látható és hallható.

And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
