Úgy gondoljuk, a dicsőséghez vezető út az, ami a színházban érdekes, az a számtalan konfliktus, azok a kalandok, melyek egy embert kiemelnek a többi ember közül.
Toldi Miklóst, a félárva, apa nélkül nevelkedő fiút, akinek testi erejére, ügyességére − s talán tisztaságára − György bátyja féltékeny, Miklóst, az embert szeretnénk megmutatni. Azt az embert, aki esendő, aki túlságosan is jóhiszemű, aki hirtelen haragú és ezért bűnbe esik; a fiút, aki nagyon tud szeretni, s aki nem áll bosszút bátyján, bár tehetné; akit megindít a fiait elveszített özvegy könnye, s aki a váratlan kapott apanázsból bizony jól felönt a garatra…

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
