A közhelyek édessége az, hogy mindig van rajtuk valami másmáz, amitől nem hagynánk ki, hogy megleshessük őket. Itt most adott egy férfi és egy nő. Elfáradtak, fásultak. Kezdenék is meg nem is. Hagynák is, meg fel is vennék ez élet lyukas kesztyűjét. Mert mi mást tehetnének. S hát, mint sokszor, ott van vége, ahol kezdődik.
És közben zene, zene, zene. Dalok, amelyek a mába hozzák a harmincas évek Amerikájának hangulatát, a világválság örökségét. A tegnapot a mába.
