talán az egyetlen, aki képes mindegyikben kiemelkedõt alkotni. Bár talán szerencsés helyzetben is van,
hiszen különlegesen mély és egyedi hangja olyannyira elkülöníti zenésztársaitól, hogy stílusok között
sosem kellett választania csak azért, hogy az emberek jobban megjegyezzék. Tekintélyt parancsoló hangja
miatt nagyon sokszor játszotta már el nagyhatalmú vezetõk, királyok, vagy akár az Úristen szerepét is.
De a Liszt Ferenc Zeneakadémián többek között operaénekes szakon végzett mûvész nem állhatott meg
egyféle repertoárnál. Komoly, laikus számára is operaénekes hangja ellenére mindenki hallani akarta
profondo mélybasszusban a nápolyi dalokat, Szécsi Pál dalait, vagy az "A vén, budai hársfák"-at.
Domahidy László saját mûsorral is járja az országot, és bár az életpálya menüpontban ismertetett
repertoár korántsem teljes, sokoldalúságát így sem lehet megkérdõjelezni. Repertoárjában kiemelt helyet
foglalnak el az olyan opera-részletek, dalok, amiket más nem, illetve nem az eredeti hangnemében tud
elénekelni, és az olyan klasszikusok, melyek nem is szólnak jól magasabb hangokkal, és éppen ezért igen
ritkán hallhatóak. Egy ilyen operamûsor ma kuriózumnak számít.
Igen kedveltek elõadásai alkalmával az egyéb stílusú dalok is, mint például a francia és magyar sanzonok,
kuplék a 30-as, 40-es évekbõl, pl. Seres Rezsõ dalai, vagy éppen nápolyi dalok basszus verzióban.
Pályája kezdetétõl közremûködik kortárs magyar zeneszerzõk kompozícióiban (Ligeti, Szokolai, Bozay,
Durkó, Eötvös, Faragó, Litván).
Our offer
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
