Liszt Ferenc, az első világsztár!
Október 22-én a 19. század világsztárjának, Liszt Ferenc születésének évfordulóját ünnepeljük egy tematikus épülettörténeti séta keretein belül.
A Vigadó története a kezdetektől egybeforrt Liszt nevével, közös múltjuk még a Pesti Vigadó elődjeként szolgáló Redoute-ban kezdődött, 1839-ben, amikor az árvízkárosultak javára szervezett hangversenyével és az azt követő koncertsorozattal meghódította Európa valamennyi országát. A kor számos zongoravirtuóza közül is kimagaslott, mivel rendkívüli technikája, kiváló improvizációs készsége különleges, lebilincselő egyéniséggel párosult. Játéka valóságos „lisztomániának” elnevezett extázist váltott ki rajongói körében. Liszt a maga korában a mai sztárokat megszégyenítő népszerűségnek örvendett.
Sétánk során Bősze Ádám zenetörténész kalauzol el bennünket a Vigadó épületében, miközben felidézzük a zeneszerző óriás emlékezetes fellépéseit, híres ősbemutatóit. A túra végén pedig felcsendülnek a leghíresebb Liszt zongoraművek.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
