A statisztikusok szerint nem telik el olyan óra, hogy valahol a nagyvilágban, TV-ben, színházban vagy rádióban, ne csendülne fel egy-egy Kálmán-melódia, így Kálmán Imrét méltán tartják minden idők legtöbbet játszott operettszerzőjének. Operettet nem csupán mi, magyarok játszunk, ám a magyar ember temperamentuma termékenyíti meg a világon egyedülálló módon ezt a műfajt, és teszi egyedivé. Az előadás során Kálmán Imre előtt tisztelegve a szerző legnagyobb slágereiből nyújtunk át Önöknek egy csokrot, mintegy keresztmetszetét adva a Kálmán-operettek színes, szórakoztató világának, valamint az est során meglepetés produkciókkal is kedveskedünk nézőinknek. A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
This ballet's plot is inspired by The Corsair, a famous verse written in 1814 by Lord Byron, who towered over an entire generation of English Romantic poets.
