Szilveszteri operett gála
A Kodály Filharmónia nagyszabású óévbúcsúztató gáláján 2011. december 31-én este 6 órakor, a Bartók teremben részletek hangzanak el A Csárdáskirálynőből, A Denevérből, A víg özvegyből, a Cirkuszhercegnőből, A mosoly országából, a Mágnás Miskából, a Cigányszerelemből, a Marica grófnőből és a Mária főhadnagyból, mégpedig a műfaj igazi sztárjainak tolmácsolásában! A Budapesti Operettszínházból érkezik Oszvald Marika, Kalocsai Zsuzsa, Bódi Barbara és Peller Károly, hozzájuk csatlakozik Debrecen két kedvenc tenoristája: Balczó Péter és Haja Zsolt. Közreműködik a Cívis Táncegyüttes, a Kodály Filharmonikusokat Somogyi-Tóth Dániel vezényli.

Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
