Még a hazugság sem igazi hazugság, hiszen színészek hazudnak, márpedig azoknak rendes ember szavát sem hiszi amúgy sem. Az efféle helyzetekből a való életben cifra kis bonyodalmak szoktak adódni – és nincs ez másképpen ebben a népszínműben sem, ahol senki sem az, aki, viszont minden ajtó fülekkel van kitapétázva, és minden fillér kölcsönben van – a különbség talán egyedül annyi, hogy itt végül minden és mindenki a helyére kerül, a szerelmesek egymáséi lesznek, a hoppon maradtak megtanulják hazájuknak tekinteni a hoppot, a pénz pedig – és talán mégiscsak ez a legfontosabb – a családban marad.
