Az életunt, megfáradt szállóvendégnek fogytán a pénze, amiről úgy gondolta kitart, amíg utoléri a szívroham: ezért egyességet ajánl a portásnak. Pénze maradékáért tegye el láb alól, fájdalommentesen és észrevétlenül.
De persze ez csak a történet egyik szintje – ahogy Mrozektől megszokhattuk – sokkal többről van szó. A két európai „térfél" találkozásáról, amely mostanában izgalmas kérdések egész sorát veti fel. Mert a szerződők között sok mindenről szó esik: politika, pénz, szolgaság és hatalom, nyugat- és kelet-európai értékrend. Mindez egy krímiszerűen izgalmas, keserű homorú, mélyen filozófikus darabban.

Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
