Füstös, pesti kiskocsma, a sarokban öreg pianínó, mellette egy legendás előadó. Az est főszereplője a különös sorsú magyar világsláger, a Szomorú vasárnap szerzője, Seress Rezső. Dalainak és a korszak anekdotáinak segítségével megidézzük ezt a jellegzetesen pesti alakot, aki szinte soha nem hagyta el szeretett hetedik kerületét, és évtizedekig volt meghatározó szereplője a pesti éjszakának.
