Morc király folyton csatázik ezért Levente királyfi, maga indul feleséget választani. Aranyvirágra hamar rátalál, de az apja Karc király, - ármányos varázslatokkal - meg akarja akadályozni a fiatalok házasságát. A királyfi jóbarátja és segítője a mókás ám eszes Tódor, kihallgatva a madarak beszélgetését, túljár Karc király eszén. Most azonban ő kerül bajba! Így hát Levente királyfi kalandos utat jár be, míg megtalálja szerencsének szerencséjét,hogy megmentse barátját.
