Jókai Mór születésének 200. évfordulójára a Pannon Várszínház a Szegény gazdagok című regény színpadi változatának ősbemutatójával készül. A produkció műfaji meghatározása kalandjáték, mely hűen tükrözi a romantika hatáselemeit, pénz és hatalom, szerelem és halál játékait. Izgalmas cselekmény, titkok, fergeteges humor és irónia keverednek, formátumos női és férfi alakok küzdenek egymással, saját csillapíthatatlan vágyaikkal. A valóságban is létezett Fatia Negra figurája pedig alkalmat nyújt arra, hogy már-már spirituális szinten jelenjen meg az Ady által megénekelt Vér és arany motívum:

Henry Purcell’s epic masterpiece, Dido and Aeneas has to do with the Trojan War. But what is even more important than the historical background of this hour-long little gem is love – as Dóra Barta, the director of the production highlights it, “Humanity has long known that if there is something you can die of, Love is certainly such a thing.
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
