A Szegedi Szimfonikus Zenekar hangversenyének címét Liszt Ferenc Vándorévek zongoraciklusának egyik emblematikus műve adja; a természetben bolyongó romantikus hős a létezés értelmét kutatja reménytelenül. A Kocsis Zoltán hangszerelésében elhangzó darab előtt Liszt utolsó szimfonikus költeménye, valamint Beethoven utolsó vonósnégyesének látnoki lassú tétele teszi teljessé a létfilozófiai kérdéseket feszegető első félidőt, majd a szünet után Johannes Brahms Sturm und Drang jegyeket is mutató, erőteljes első zongoraversenyét hallgathatja meg a közönség Fejérvári Zoltán tolmácsolásában.
A koncert karmestere Dubóczky Gergely, a Szegedi Szimfonikus Zenekar művészeti vezetője.

The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
