„Szerintem a Mizantróp minden nyugatra szakadt magyarnak rokonlelke. Előadásunkkal kiröhögjük a höbörgő-asztalcsapkodó-fennhéjázó önmagunkat, de megszólalni engedjük a meg nem-értettségünk elviselhetetlen, feloldozhatatlan maganyát is. A munka során egyre szorosabban fontam Mihály köré az előadást; kizárólag általa él a darab, és nagyon is él. Letisztult, merész színházi találkozást készítettem elő a színművész és a nézők között."
