Két királynő. I. (Tudor) Erzsébet az angol trónon, Stuart Mária skót királynő az ő fogságában.
Sorstársak, rokonok, ellenségek. Ketten vannak, de se az angol trónon, se a férfiak szívében nincs helye, csak egynek. A börtön szűk, a vád hamis, az ítélet halálos. A rang kötelez, a nép követel, az érdekek kényszerítenek. Az egyiknek halnia, a másiknak ölnie kell. Minden eldőlt már, de még minden megfordulhat: ez az utolsó előtti pillanat. Egy férfiak által kitalált világban, ahol a politikai érvényesülés kíméletlen mészárszék-logikája uralkodik minden felett, két nő áll szemben egymással - és képükben a szabadság fordul szembe az önkénnyel. De lehet-e esélye előbbinek az utóbbi felett? Két királynő a két térfélen. Az egyikük beletörik, a másikuk hozzátöri magát a rendszerhez.

There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
