Martin eddigi élete során megélt élmények, behatások, csalódások és konfliktusok hatására, sajátos énképet fejlesztett ki magán, ami zárkózottá, negatív önértékeléstől gyötrődővé, sérülékennyé következésképpen magányossá, szeretethiányossá tette.
Ezt a belső káoszt pattanásig feszítette egy rejtélyes, cím és feladó nélküli levél megjelenése. Vajon ki írhatta? Ki küld címzett és feladó nélküli levelet manapság? Ezen tépelődve Martin legsötétebb félelmei tódulnak a felszínre rég beágyazódott sebeket feltépve.
