Az alkotók – Tárnok Marica és Sz. Nagy Mari – alkati adottságaiból is fakad, hogy a némafilmek korabeli két csillagát, Stant és Pant választották összekötőnek a zenés etűdök és a tárgyas animációk között.
A májusi színházi bemutatót néhány – nem egész estés – kísérleti esemény előzte meg, amikor kocsmai és kávéházi közegben is kipróbálták a játékot.
Az előadás népszerű slágereket, ismert zenei motívumokat dolgoz fel szokatlan eszközökkel.
Egy utazóbőrönd kibelezésével indul a bábkabaré, ahol az olló balerinává, az ernyőbot búvárrá, az esernyő nagymamává vagy hattyúvá válik.
Játsszák: Tárnok Marica és Sz. Nagy Mari
Tárnok Marica bábművész színészként kezdte pályafutását. Tagja volt a Független Színpadnak, a Gergye Krisztián társulatnak, játszott a tatabányai Jászai Mari Színházban, a Budapest Bábszínházban és számos független kortárs társulattal is dolgozott. Drámapedagógiai és múzeumpedagógiai programokat, dráma- és bábjáték foglalkozásokat vezet. A Bethlen Téri Színházban már találkozhatott vele a közönség, mint kortárs táncos, színész, bábművész, rendező, tartott foglalkoztatót, kézműves foglalkozást, színházi „kulisszajárást” is, s rendszeresen jelentkezik a Marica bábszínháza újabb és újabb produkciókkal is kicsiknek és nagyoknak egyaránt.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
Two giants of Baroque music meet during the Advent season in a performance by the OPERA Orchestra and Chorus. Bach’s well-known Magnificat is performed in its original version, in E-flat major, supplemented with movements specifically tailored to the festive season by the composer himself.
