Az est különlegessége, hogy a zenetudós művésznő a zeneszerzők életeseményeinek, levelezéseinek dokumentumaiból átfogó képet szerkeszt a korról, és társadalmi, művészeti helyzetükről. A szemelvényeket Bálint András színművész tolmácsolásában hallhatja a közönség. Az est így azok számára is egyedinek ígérkezik, akik a szerzők műveit jól ismerik, de személyes sorsukról kevesebbet tudnak. Ismeretterjesztő jellegű, közvetlen hangvételű előadásukat a fiatal korosztálynak is ajánlják.

A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
