“The luck will turn. I know it—I feel the day approaching. Some one or other will take it into his head to say: Give me a chance! And then all the rest will come clamouring after him, and shake their fists at me and shout: Make room—make room—! Yes, just you see, doctor—presently the younger generation will come knocking at my door—”

‘Forever Relevant’ we said laughing when talking about Ibsen at home. Rather only us, the younger ones laughed, since our parents’ and grandparents’ generation absolutely did not put this phrase in quotation marks. For them, Ibsen was truly forever relevant. He is challenging crucial problems, he is provocative and controversial, after nearly a century, in spite of the statues, the canonisations, the modernism, the countless school essays and constant theatre plays. But how much does the writer, who is claimed by our literature teachers to be provocative, provocate us? How important, controversial and hyperrelevant are those works that are admired by our grandfathers?
Pernille Rygg: Forever relevant, ha ha ha
The runtime of the show is 2 hours with one intermission.

The World of Ballet Remembers a Hungarian Legend 2014 saw the sudden passing of the international ballet artist and ballet director Iván Nagy. After his retirement, he had returned to serve his country by working as head artistic consultant for the Hungarian State Opera.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
