A Berklee hajdani ösztöndíjasát, a Thelonius Monk Institute egykori növendékét, Oláh Tzumo Árpádot aligha kell bemutatni a hazai közönségnek, ahogy a Fesztiválzenekar, illetve a Claudio Abbado vezette Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester egykori bőgősét, a számos jazz-versenyen díjazott Barcza Horváth Józsefet sem. Toni Snétberger a kvartett vezetőjének fia, aki nemcsak jazzdobosként, hanem színészként is ismert Németországban. A vendég, Markus Stockhausen (a zeneszerző, Karlheinz Stockhausen fia) régi barátja és muzsikuspartnere Snétberger Ferencnek, aki így nyilatkozott róla: „Markus olyasmiket hoz ki belőlem, amiket egyébként soha nem játszom. A kommunikációnak ez a közvetlen fajtája valami egészen rendkívüli.”

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
