Soproni hangversenybérletének nyitóestjén az európai zene történetének egyik legnagyobb oratorikus remekművét, Schubert utolsó nagy miséjét szólaltatja meg a Győri Filharmonikus Zenekar. A mester halálának évében, 1828-ban befejezett, mindenféle liturgikus keretet szétfeszítő, grandiózus alkotás valóságos hangzó világdráma: a hagyományos latin textust a zeneszerző mélyen személyes módon, láttató erővel zenésítette meg, magasan felülemelkedve a használat szempontjain. A nagy mise előadásában kivételes rangú énekesgárda és a világhírű Philharmonia Chor Wien működik közre, a nemzetközi hírű osztrák dirigens, Martin Sieghart irányításával.
Our offer
Set in the Roman Empire around 74 BC, Spartacus was László Seregi's first true full-length ballet, which at one stroke became a milestone in Hungarian dance life. Since 1968, one generation after another has enjoyed the historically themed choreography, which treats the story of the ancient slave revolt in such a way that its true message is not the rebellion itself, but rather human emotions and choices under pressure.
János Hunyadi is responsible for the tolling of bells around the world; Mátyás Hunyadi is the hero of a string of folk tales; László Hunyadi inspired “only” an opera.
While the Fountain of Tears bubbles before him, Giray, khan of the Tatars, is lost in brooding. Just as the flow from the marble fount cannot be exhausted, his own sorrow will never diminish, either. The story of the Fountain of Bakhchisarai is set in motion by a romance recounting the reason for the khan's gloom.
