2018. december 19-én, este 7 órakor kezdődik a Pesti Vigadóban Rost Andrea jótékonysági hangversenye, amellyel a Kossuth-díjas művésznő, a Semmelweis Egyetem Pető András Karának jószolgálati nagykövete az intézet zeneszobájának létrehozását kívánja elősegíteni a Tehetség Évének záró eseményével.
Ezzel az első önálló rendezvénnyel az alapítvány elkezdi megvalósítani alapító okiratában megfogalmazott céljait: támogatni olyan művészi tevékenységeket, amelyek révén gazdagodhat a magyar művészeti-kulturális élet, amelyekkel gyermekek testi-szellemi-zenei fejlődését segítheti elő.
A koncerten Rost Andrea mellett fellép Simic Aleksander csellista, a 2017-es Virtuózok felfedezettje, Baráti Kristóf Kossuth-díjas hegedűművész, Sándor Csaba operaénekes, a Bartók–Pásztory-díjas Magyar Rádió Gyermekkórusa (karigazgató Walter Judit, zongorán közreműködik Arany Zsuzsanna), a Magyar Rádió Szimfonikus Zenekara, vezényel Kovács János Kossuth-díjas karmester.

Our offer
There are evenings when our Opera House cannot perform because rehearsals are ongoing on stage until the evening. There are audience members who can only afford to hear their favourite pieces with a discount. And there are works that, although very popular, cannot be staged every season due to the congestion of productions.
What happens when the worst traits of a power-hungry prince incapable of resisting earthly pleasures, a morally corrupt, vengeful, manipulative woman, and a desire-driven but highly impressionable teenage girl all erupt at the same time upon the appearance of a holy man?
As it is a latent Kodály season, it seems only fitting that the concert at the OPERA honouring the events of 1956 should feature works by the composer. In that same year, the short-lived Revolutionary Council of Hungarian Intellectuals elected him as its president. Throughout his entire oeuvre, Kodály consistently reinforced Hungarian national identity. The programme gains both colour and a ceremonial character from the hymn-like and dance-infused compositions of his middle and later years.
