Az előadás Petőfi Sándor születésének 200. évfordulója kapcsán készült. Kiemelt cél volt, hogy ne a forradalmi életutat dolgozza fel, hanem újat adjon a nézőknek. Megismerkedhetünk Kerényi Frigyeshez, barátjához írt leveleivel, melyeket soha nem adott fel a címzettnek, így váltak ezek "fiktív" írásokká. Közben versek hangzanak el és a Zeneakadémián diplomázott Somlai Valéria zongoraművésznő élő zongorajátékát is hallhatjuk.
