Az adventi és karácsonyi koncertek műsorát olyan alkotók remekműveiből állítottam össze, akik nagy hatással voltak rám, és formálták a játékomat, az előadói attitűdömet, a világnézetemet.
Velünk lesz Ch. M. Widor, akitől az erős barátságról, az okos és kemény munkáról és a minden körülmények között megtartott emberségről tanulhatunk. Vivaldi, aki fél szemmel mindig figyelt bennünket hallgatókat. Ki tudja talán még onnan fentről is figyel, hogy amit alkotott az feltölt-e bennünket, örülünk-e neki, közelebb emel-e a Jóistenhez. Ha így van, meggyőződésem, hogy mosolyog a számára kirendelt mennyei kertben, templomban, vagy palotában - ahogy az ott fent szokás. Játszom Liszt Ferenctől, hiszen ki mutathatná meg jobban mi is az a „self made man”, hogy még egy intéző fiából is lehet világhírű muzsikus – kitartással és önmaga árnyékának átlépésével. Bach pedig, az örök Bach olyan teljes képet mutat nekünk amilyen a muzsikája. Életvidám, életigenlő, bátor, mindenek felett precíz ember, aki érti a teremtést, és ismeri benne a helyét. Utazzon velem és az elmúlt 30 évem példaképeivel 2023 adventjén, karácsonyán!

For the 14th time, the performance of the famous Symphony No. 9 will dominate the OPERA’s New Year celebrations. In 2027, the programme will be completed by two further classical works: Beethoven’s overture, also enhanced by Mahler, and a cello concerto by Haydn, the latter of course featuring an OPERA soloist.
A century ago, the world first encountered this remarkable opus, a work that soon became one of the cornerstones of twentieth-century musical innovation. Premiered in 1926, the singspiel is a milestone in Hungarian music history: its composer, Zoltán Kodály, fulfilled his aspiration to elevate Hungarian folk song of ancient origin to the same status as classical music, by virtue of its equivalent values, placing it on the stage of the nation’s Opera House.
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French, Greece and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances. For selected tour times, tickets are also available with the PreOpera Menu package. In addition to the guided tour of the Opera House, this option includes a themed set menu of your choice at OperaBistro, which can be enjoyed either before or after the tour.
