A tavalyi év végén jelent meg a Jászai Mari-díjas színész, rendező könyve Rajtam nem múlt címmel, melyben Csáki Judit faggatja őt személyes és szakmai múltjáról, jelenéről, színészi és rendezői énjéről, műhelytitkokról, a kulturális környezetről és a világról, amelyben élünk. A könyv igen mély betekintést enged egy olyan ember életébe, lelkébe, aki évtizedek óta megkerülhetetlen alakja a hazai kulturális életnek.
A másfél órás pódiumbeszélgetés alapját és ívét az új kötet adja, megmutatva Alföldi Róbert egy korábban talán nem látott, de legalábbis kevésbé ismert énjét.
