„Valahányszor költői estet készítettem (Kosztolányi, Szép Ernő, Radnóti, Babits, Márai, Arany), mindig kicsit magamról is beszéltem. Most Radnóti költészetében azt keresem, ami az ő magyarságtudatáról, zsidóságáról és katolicizmusáról szól, és szeretnék beszélni a saját családomról, a gyökereimről. Az est folyamán Radnóti versek, naplórészletek, levelek, korabeli újságcikkek, törvények szövegei hangzanak el, de elmondok néhány saját történetet is. A közönség körbeül, egy térben vagyunk, együtt gondolkodunk.”
